About

The contraception and abortion subgroup of the iCoP on COVID-19, SRHR and gender equality is busy doing research on “Factors influencing access around contraception and abortion services during the COVID-19 pandemic in Iran, Bangladesh, and the Netherlands; a mixed-method study”.

Overall, the goal of the study is to assess the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on access to contraception or safe abortion services for women of reproductive age in Iran, Bangladesh and the Netherlands, in order to develop a range of written and digital knowledge products by March 2021.

This particular call is for people living in the Netherlands

Method in the Netherlands

The Dutch research team has developed online surveys for service providers and women of reproductive age, which are available via QR codes and links. These surveys are available in both Dutch and English. The two topics, contraception and abortion, are covered its own survey. Information and informed consent are the start of the survey, so no one can enter the survey without giving consent in advance. The surveys are anonymous.

If you are a woman of reproductive age (15-49) who is living in the Netherlands and want to participate, see here (for the Dutch version, see here)

If you are a service provider working in the Netherlands and want to participate, see here (for the Dutch version, see here)
