Calls to decolonize global health are growing as countries around the world struggle to contain the coronavirus and inequalities caused by imbalanced power structures resurface. Experts from the global south have said the colonial mentality dictates who gets to make decisions, who gets to participate in the process of development, and who benefits from opportunities. But what does it really mean to decolonize global health, as well as the broader global development sector?
