This symposium is a joint initiative organised by ISS/EUR and Partos to facilitate exchange between academics, policy makers and practitioners working in the fields of international and national development. 

Professor Rema Hammami, Prince Claus Chair holder 2005-2006, will share her insights on the politicized framing of GBV and strategies to deal with this, followed by discussions with researchers, practitioners and policy makers working in the field of gender in national and international development. The aim is to exchange insights on strategies to deal with this politicized framing of GBV.

The symposium will be held at the Paleiskerk, Paleisstraat 8, 2514 JAThe Hague.
