On 28th October 2020, International Committee on the Rights of Sex Workers in Europe (ICRSE) organised an online event to launch its latest report on access to justice for migrant sex workers in Europe.

The report – developed by ICRSE with partners in 10 countries – highlights some of the key obstacles faced by sex workers in reporting crime and accessing justice.

The key findings of the report were presented by Luca Stevenson, ICRSE Coordinator and Kate McGrew, ICRSE Co-Convenor from Sex Workers Alliance Ireland (click here for their presentation). The panel also featured testimonies of migrant sex worker victims of crime, exploitation and trafficking (click here for the video of Posha, representing PALOMA, France and here for the presentation of Antonella, Sex Work Call, Romania), as well as statements of support from ally civil society organisations and Members of European Parliament:

    • Kadri Soova, Platform for International Cooperation on Undocumented Migrants
    • Marisa Matias, MEP, GUE/NL;
    • Sophie In ‘t Veld, MEP, Renew
