International Safe Abortion Day 2021 at Share-Net Netherlands

Throughout the world, barriers continue to undermine access to safe and legal abortion care. By disproportionately harming low-income and marginalized communities, these laws and policies exacerbate social inequality. Today, on September 28th, 2021, Share-Net Netherlands joins the worldwide demand to remove all laws and policies restricting the right to safe abortion.
This overview provides you with more information about some of Share-Net Netherlands members’ and partners’ efforts and activities to make unsafe abortion history and some resources amplifying the dialogue on abortion!

The theme for this year is #MakeUnsafeAbortionHistory and in the run-up to September 28th we have been sharing some recommended resources from our Contraception and Abortion Community of Practice that are amplifying the dialogue on abortion.
