CoP Introduction and Background

The Community of Practice ‘Multilateral Processes’ is concerned with UN processes such as the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW), the Commission on Population and Development (CPD) and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The group organises briefings and debriefings each year around these multilateral processes and ad hoc meetings, discussions when necessary 📜 🗺️


CoP Objectives

The CoP kick-started the new year with an online knowledge sharing & strategizing meeting in January 2021 looking at the International Advocacy challenges and opportunities in 2020 & 2021 to achieve SRHR and gender equality. You can access the webinar report and watch back the recording here.

  • Organising briefing meetings in the run up to UN advocacy events to strategies and prepare Dutch civil society
  • Organising de-briefing meetings after events to share outcomes, challenges present at the events and updates on resolutions
  • Update and discuss opposition in different UN spaces
