CoP Introduction and Overview

The Sexual Pleasure CoP promotes sexual pleasure, well-being and happiness as essential parts of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR). The CoP wants to showcase how sexual pleasure and sexual well-being can be put into practice, enhance the understanding of pleasure-positive approaches and integrate these approaches into SRHR work, especially within advocacy, education and programmatic settings. 

After scaling down due to funding constraints, the Sexual Pleasure CoP will once again commence with its first meeting in October, 2026. The goal? Creating a session on sexual pleasure during the Share-Net Annual Members’ Meeting in December.

Objective:

  • Strengthening the network by connecting experts, organizations and practitioners working and interested in sexual pleasure and well-being to foster peer learning, collaboration and mutual support.
