Communities of Practice

Communities of Practices (CoPs) are thematic working groups dedicated to knowledge exchange, learning, addressing knowledge gaps and networking. By establishing CoPs on different SRHR topics, we aim to create a shared space that inspires Share-Net Netherlands members to collaborate 🤝 CoPs are set up by members who wish to convene on a specific topic and address knowledge gaps. There is no one way to do a CoP and so each group has different objectives. Some CoPs like to meet every few weeks for casual meetings to exchange news and updates, other CoPs zoom in on a challenge and work together to generate knowledge to address this issue. CoPs often organise webinars and expert meetings, develop knowledge products, conduct small-scale research and organise social media campaigns. Below you can find an overview of our CoPs that are currently active, who they are and what they do. Feel free to contact us for more information about joining or engaging with our Communities of Practice! CoPs are open to all Share-Net Netherlands members, regardless of your level of experience with a topic!
